Maryland Adoptee Rights advocate Peggy Klappenberger penned a great opinion piece that has been published in the Capital Gazette, the daily newspaper in Annapolis.
From the piece:
SB331 and HB999 will achieve what’s needed — restored access to all Maryland-born adult adoptees, regardless of when their adoptions were finalized. Adoptees should not be constrained by the legal framework of adoption once they become adults.
from “Maryland can restore basic rights for all adoptees,” Capital Gazette, February 27, 2021.
